The expected time on for a Director Duty Week is 1 or 2 weeks per quarter, and I try to minimize and separate the times appropriately. The expectation is to have your assigned week, and if someone is wanting or willing to cover/switch/work with you to take some/all of the coverage, that may be worked out between you and the other person. The primary requirement is that your Duty Week is covered, and someone answers the phone.
