Move In Rules and Regulations

Please review the following Move In Rules, Policies, and Expectations before scheduling your move in, and help us reduce risk and increase health and safety in our communities!

Prior to Arrival:

• Timing: To assist with parking during the busy day, please limit your move in time to 2 hours.
• Payments: Be sure all necessary payments have been submitted prior to your arrival. Students must have a balanced account in order to check in, and both the student and the guarantor must have signed the acknowledgment page (sent via email, signed electronically).

Your Move In Day:

• Arrival Time: You may plan to arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to your scheduled move in time. If you arrive earlier, please help us reduce the total number of people by not waiting in the parking lot or at the building. Consider exploring Santa Barbara!
• Parking: Please be considerate of those moving in at the same time or after you. When you’ve finished unloading your car, please move to the overflow (dirt) lot across Camino Pescadero Road (to the west) or find street parking nearby.

• Want to Meet Our Team?: Due to the staggered move in, we will not be having a Parent Meeting, BUT our team including our Director of Leasing and our Executive Director will be available in the Tropicana Gardens Office to chat, answer questions and concerns, and put a smiling face to a name! Stop by if you want to connect!
• TOWN HALL MEETING (Students Only): We will have a Town Hall meeting for ALL students (regardless of move-in day) on Sunday, September 24 at 7:00pm on the Tropicana Sundeck. Please be sure to attend this meeting.
